AIMS Graduation Ceremony 20 June 2012
On 20 June 2012, a special graduation ceremony was held in Muizenberg Pavilion for the August 2011 intake of AIMS-South Africa Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematical Sciences. 52 students graduated bringing the total number of AIMS graduates to 412 (including 124 women), from 32 different African countries, since the institute was opened in 2003. AIMS Graduation Ceremony 2011

AIMS-CIMPA Memorandum of Understanding
Prof Alain Damlamian (CIMPA) and Prof Barry Green (AIMS) have signed a memorandum of understanding in which AIMS undertakes to host a biennial CIMPA School. The agreement was signed on Wednesday 15 June 2011 during the CIMPA Research School on Modelling and Simulation in Population Biology being held at AIMS in Muizenberg.
