In association with AIMS the National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme (NASSP) will run a student workshop at AIMS in Muizenberg from 7 to 11 November 2005 with participants attending the Southern African Large Telescope (SALT) dedication at Sutherland on November 10.

Special School on Epidemiological Modelling
The special course on epidemiological modelling during the week 1st to 6th December 2003 was a great success, with 23 additional students present. This conference was hosted by AIMS in collaboration with the South African Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (SACEMA).
