AIMS and its Research Centre have are currently being reviewed by a high profile panel of scientists including Prof David Gross (A Nobel Prize winner for Physics), Prof Gerhard Frey (a leading German mathematician); Prof David Bekolle (a leading mathematician from Cameroon); Prof Sunil Maharaj (a leading South African mathematician) and Dr Romilla Maharaj (representing the South African National Research Foundation). The panel visited AIMS last week where they interviewed students, staff and researchers.
