The South African Centre for Epidemiological Modelling (SACEMA) invites applications to the sixth annual Clinic on the Meaningful Modelling of Epidemiological Data (MMED) being held from 1-12 June 2015 at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa.
This two-week modelling clinic will emphasize the use of data in understanding infectious disease dynamics. The Clinic will bring together graduate students, post-doctoral students and researchers from Africa and North America, with the goal of engaging the participants in epidemiological modelling projects that use real data to grapple with practical questions in a meaningful way.
