The MMED Modeling Clinic, which emphasises the use of data in understanding infectious disease dynamics, was held at AIMS South Africa from 17 to 29 June 2024.
There were 47 participants, of which 35 were AIMS students. Participants conducted modeling projects informed by epidemiological data that addressed practical questions in a meaningful way.
The clinic was organised by the South African Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (SACEMA) , AIMS South Africa and the International Clinics on Infectious Disease Dynamics and Data (ICI3D).
