Take your scientific programming to a new level!
26 November – 7 December 2018
You have learned to program and done some basic research with that skill – now what? Are you ready to turn your work into a library for others to use? Do you need to move an analysis from your personal machine to a high performance computer? Are there related questions to explore, but your current work requires substantial rewrites to ask them?
Do you need to create an interactive version of your results to aid decision makers? The SEAMS faculty invites you to bring your code to this workshop, where you will develop the skills to effectively use your programming know-how to solve scientific problems AND apply those skills to YOUR project in a coached, multi-day hack-a-thon.
Participants
Students or researchers that contributed to existing code that needs improvement (for distribution, to address new questions, etc.), who are familiar with 2+ programming languages..
