This workshop will present an introduction to mathematical modelling of geofluids – Atmosphere, Ocean, Ice, Lava and Deep Mantle from a unified and coordinated perspective. The presenters are world leaders in their respective fields and will give a broad overview of essential topics through lectures, exercises, computational and field studies. Attendees will develop a sense of the wonder and fascination of geofluids, and their fundamental unity through the governing equations of fluid motion.
The organisers will present a coordinated workshop around a coherent theme designed for an intended audience of postgraduate students and interested researchers from within and around Africa. Travel and accommodation costs are at the participants own expense.
