On 9 December 2022, a farewell celebration was held for Prof. Barry Green who retired as Director of AIMS South Africa after 12 years. Attendees at the event included members of the AIMS Trust, the Council, staff, students, alumni and other friends of AIMS. Brief notes of thanks were given by all parties highlighting the commitment, dedication and hard work that Prof. Green has delivered over the years for AIMS South Africa as well as the broader AIMS Network.
